Kepesake Cottage is a detached, period property, parts of which date back to the 16th Century, which has been renovated by Deb and Alan Mackay to retain many of its original features. It is situated on a quiet road off the B3297, 2 miles north of Helston.

Drawing Room Kepesake Cottage

Accommodation on the Ground Floor comprises a sitting room with dining area (TV/DVD, CD/radio), kitchen (dishwasher, cooker, fridge) small conservatory, utility room (washing machine and tumble dryer, freezer and microwave), two bathrooms (both with separate showers with heat-as-you-go water) and a separate snug with second TV and Video.

Upstairs from the kitchen you turn right to a twin bedroom with 2’6” zip and link beds that can be converted to a 5’ double bed upon request. To the left is another twin bedroom with 3’ beds. You can access the third bedroom through this bedroom or from the second staircase from the snug. This third bedroom has a lovely 4’6” poster bed.

There is room for one car immediately outside the property with another parking area 10 yards down the hill for a small car (sorry – a people carrier won’t fit!).

The Cottage has a large, terraced garden overlooking a secluded valley. There is a picnic table and BBQ for guests use. As the garden is terraced with some uneven steps we do not recommend it for toddlers unless supervised. However we are delighted to provide a cot and high chair in the cottage if requested.

A ‘Welcome Hamper’ will be provided which will include wine, milk, bread, eggs, marmalade and butter.  Also in the kitchen you will find tea, coffee and sugar.  Provided for guests use are bath, hand and face towels, kitchen towel and drying cloths, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder, loo paper, hand soap and other bits and pieces!

Sorry – no smokers or dogs.
